– Tom Godfrey, Professional Flutist, Guitar teacher in Carnegie Mellon University Prep School

“Marc Rosenberg has done a fantastic job directing the guitar program at Parker Elementary. In his time there, he has set high expectations for the students and taught them how to work together to achieve. I was so impressed by their recent performance at the Houston ISD All City Guitar Festival where they beautifully played very challenging music. Marc is knowledgeable, responsible and easy to work with.”

-Mark Moore, Professional Guitarist and former teacher with the award winning Bellaire High School Guitar Program

“I have known Marc Rosenberg for many years through his guitar teaching in Houston. As a fellow music educator, I have always appreciated the results Mr. Rosenberg extracts from his students, and the inspiration he provides. Mr. Rosenberg is an outstanding guitarist himself, and his students benefit from his professional experience and wisdom. I would highly recommend Marc Rosenberg to anybody in need of a thoughtful and inspiring guitar teacher!”

Sean Stone-Ashe, Professional Guitarist and educator in Houston, TX

“Marc has been our son’s guitar teacher for the past eight and five years, and we truly cannot say enough good things about him. He has been a steady and positive influence in their lives and has played a big part in their musical journey. He is very patient and encouraging and provides positive feedback that helps them build confidence while improving their skill. His lessons and song choices are also thoughtful and purposeful, which pushes them to grow, while never feeling pressured.

Last year, when my oldest son was a freshman in high school, he competed in the Texas UIL solo competition. Marc worked closely with him all year, helping him refine his piece and prepare not just technically but also mentally. My son qualified for state and earned a Division I rating in his solo, the highest score possible. This is something only a small number of freshman at his school have ever accomplished. This year he is on track to earn the same rating again.

My youngest son, now old enough to participate in competition, also received the highest score possible in his category. We truly believe these accomplishments would not have happened without Marc’s guidance, dedication, and genuine care.

We can not recommend Marc enough as a music teacher and think any student who has the opportunity to learn with him is very lucky.”
